Vegan Magazine Caught with Meat?

It has recently been reported that VegNews, a vegetarian lifestyle magazine, was caught using pictures of food which contain meat and dairy to go together with vegan articles. Magazine readers are furious after finding out the news and feel as if craving the meals that appeared in the images now make them feel as if they had craved meat. In order to make the pictures appear meat-free, editors admitted to digitally airbrushing out the visible bones. Publishers apologized for the images and said that the magazine will now publish nothing other than vegan photography. Also after giving their word, they don't feel as if they will lose subscribers over the incident.

Although I am nor vegan or vegetarian, reading this articles still extremely irritates me! These poor readers thinking the images are 100% vegan only to discover that the food in the pictures contain either meat or dairy must make them feel horrible for wanting such meals. They can't be blamed though, they had no idea. I feel as if the magazine should have to suffer more than it had considering its readers were awfully upset over the event but that's just me!

It's a despicable thing to do, fooling people like that. I certainly wouldn't read that magazine anymore, I'd stick with magazines that are at least more truthful about what they're showing.

I'd be very very mad if I were a reader. I'm trying to do something to help myself and other creatures and I am being lied to... it's simply unacceptable. I think that the magazine should be punished much more than they are being punished.
