The UConn Girls Basketball Team...Lost?

Headline: Diggins, ND out duel Moore, UConn Source: Check it out! The Notre Dame Girls Basketball led by sophomore sensation Skylar Diggins, upset the 2 time NCAA National Championship UConn Huskies last night at Conseco Field house. The UConn Girls Basketball team led by Maya Moore has been a dominant team over the last two seasons losing only a total of 3 games, and winning two national titles. They were expected to walk their way to another title this year, but ND standout Skylar Diggins had other plans. Maya had a game-high 36pts and Skylar had a season high 28pts on 10-14 shooting the ball. It turned into a head to head shootout between the two standouts, but Skylar prevailed. I think that this is an unbelievable feat because of how good the UConn team was. The Fighting Irish will play Tuesday night against Texas A&M for the National Title. The Irish hope to keep their winning ways, but nothing will feel quite as sweet as taking down the mighty huskies of Connecticut. Over and out, Montague.
