Charlie's torpedo sinks

Headline: Charlie Sheen's live show in Detroit completely fails

Unsurprisingly, Charlie Sheen's road show has been a complete catastrophe. Instead of making the audience roll with unrestrained laughter, he chose to go on more nonsensical rants about...God, does it even matter? The man is nuts.
Audience members from far reaching places, such as Canada, left the show devastated at the loss of about $70 a ticket, retail. Many walked out of the show within minutes - of course, only after booing the Adonis himself off of the stage.
Personally, I think that within the next few days, we will be hearing of the cancellation of the entire tour. Clearly, it was a failure, and those that have already purchased their tickets for future shows probably will not be attending the gig - why would they, after seeing that everyone else in attendance has failed to be wooed?

I do feel that those that purchased their tickets will not, and should not, receive the refund that they are currently demanding. Though they did expect a comedy act, they were not at the show of a decently-sane person. They were at the mercy of a mad man who does not seem to really give about what other people expect. People knew that they were paying $70 to listen to a has-been who has damaged his career and personal life forever. There was zero expectation for an actual comedy show to take place, and those that legitimately expected that Sheen would suddenly become funny should lower their life expectations.

I thought it was funny that there was so much hype over his show with so many tickets being sold What were people expecting when they bought the tickets? They shouldn't get their money back. His show turned out exactly how a show hosted by a man in his state of mind should have, a disaster.

I read over the weekend that there was some fine print on the tickets to this tour that state that one will NOT get one's money back in the event of a cancelled "performance" unless Mr. Sheen fails to reschedule the "performance" within a year. So...let's say you pay $70 or $150 dollars PER TICKET for you and your boy/girlfriend to go see the show and he cancels. You'll have to wait a FULL YEAR to get back your money. It seems like Sheen and his people are banking on you forgetting and not trying to get your money back!

I don't really know what people are expecting. He is a rediculus man with an utterly rediculus adgenda, and with all the trouble he's in lately with beating up hookers and being an alcoholic, who in their right mind would want to see this man self-destruct in person?

I think people should really find something better to do with their time than go to watch a crazy man destroy his life even more. If was smart of his people or whoever suggested the tour to do so. They knew people would pay to come see him, and they also knew he would probably screw it up. They're ripping people off and making money off one man's self-destruction.
