You have got to start feeling bad for the Butler Bulldogs' basketball fans. For two years straight the nation's "Cinderella" team have made it all the way to the NCAA tournament final and both times they fell short. Last year's loss was handed to them by the powerhouse Duke Blue Devils. This year it was the Connecticut Huskies. Butler was an above average 5 seed last year while this year they were a su

b par 8 seed. They had come so far in the last two years, they beat number 1 seeded Syracuse last year and this year they defeated number 1 Pittsburgh. Last year star player Gordan Heyward basically carried the team all the way to the finals, however after his departure to the NBA, the Bulldogs were much more balanced and in my mind, they were probably better.
Remember the Phillies World Series run in 2009 when they lost to the Yankees. Remember the heartache and pain. Now times that by 2 to feel what the Butler fans are feeling after Monday's loss to the Huskies. The fans have to start almost getting annoyed. When you get so far and you do not totally make it, its got to be somewhat tiring and annoying.
Well there is always next year for the Butler fans. Hopefully
if they can get as far as they have been, they win it or else there could be some riots on Butler's campus.

I don't really care about the sports, but the dog is cute :)
even though it is a horrible loss and a bad way to end the season, it is great for the program and this success will definately bring in more talent..GO BUTLER!
