Apparently, "planking" is the new craze running through the Internet at the moment...This activity is a game in which you lie down in an unusual place or at an unusual angle and take a photo.
Obviously, people are trying to step their game up, and with that comes consequences; an Australian man was planking on the 7th floor of a hotel balcony when he fell to his death.
Personally, this is pretty funny, but at the same time pointless. I'll stick to Memebase.

this is kind of cool and funny, but I agree with you that it really is random and has no point
I just lol'ed. There is no point to this, but that doesn't mean i probably wouldn't want to try it...
...so I may or may not have been out taking hipster pictures, and may or may not have done this... But it's really not great for anything other than getting some cool, unusual perspective shots.
