Headline: Rihanna, Chris Brown Following Each Other on Twitter
Source: NBC Philadelphia
So...I can't really say that I'm the biggest Rihanna or Chris Brown fan. That umbrella song gets stuck in my head and makes me sad and I have no respect for ANYONE who beats their partner. Nor am I a fan of Twitter. I don't tweet, I have no followers, and I think it's frustrating and difficult to condense my thoughts into 144 characters. But what really strikes me about this article isn't that they're "following" each other on Twitter, but Rihanna's reaction to fans who suggested that following someone who beat you senseless was possibly a bad idea because she's a role model for young girls.
Rihanna's response? "its [expletive] twitter, not the alter! calm down"
I don't think that's any way to talk to one's fans, especially the fans who stood by her during the whole Chris Brown debacle. She did apologize, but it's too little too late.
The whole thing brings up an interesting question. If one has a restraining order against another person, should that restraining order hold up in the virtual world? And if one has a restraining order against them, does following the twiter feed of the person s/he's not allowed to have contact with count as stalking?

I saw this on the news and just laughed. Both are pathetic..
I think that if there's a restraining order involved, then it should hold up in the virtual world. I wouldn't call it stalking but I do not think Brown should be allowed to follow Rhianna if she has a restraining orderer against him
I think that this is extremely funny. I think that if she wants to follow him she should be allowed to. People should let them be, its their own business. They should just take a chill pill. Just shows how smart women are!
I agree it's their business what they do and who they follow. Personally, I don't understand why she cares what the person who beat her has to say or what he's doing or whatever you're supposed to write on twitter but still she can do whatever she wants. But maybe she should change her song to "Oh na na, What's wong with me?"
I think that it's actually a good idea that she's following him, honestly. If I had some guy that was beating me up, I'd like to know what he was up to. And if I announced it to people, that MIGHT blow my cover.
Also, like she said, it's Twitter. She's had enough Chris drama, she doesn't need people flipping out about it. People shouldn't question her about it, seeing as it isn't their life/problem.
...Also, honestly, even if this wasn't a strategic 'don't kill me chris' move, she probably just forgot she followed him. They DID go out guys...
And let's be honest, who hasn't checked out what their ex is doing? (the gosh darn jerk-bucket that broke our hearts, look at him, he's ! he's ! at the mall.)
